UNIT 7 Intimate Portraits - GENRES - Conceptual Emotional & Candid street. RESEARCH

After my initial selections for the project. I was able to give it some more thought. And my idea for conceptual photography will be Emotional. Having been a kidney dialysis patient, I'm aware of the emotions and feelings a person experience, when being told they'll be on dialysis. Particularly during the first 30 day. A conceptual photographer who's images conveys, states of melancholic contemplation. Embodying, sadness, courage, and self - awareness. Is Chris Hieronymus. His artistic mantra is " the change is me " referring to the power of human passion and creativity to enact positive transformation. I'll be contemplating his, and the photography of other in this field to help and inspire me.

I also intend to make candid street photographs. Though i'm not sure about the genre as yet. However here are some examples of candid street photography. 

I already enjoy street photography. But my street photography, has been general. In that I make photographs of any street scenes that I'm in some way drawn to, or inspired to make.

With this selection the photographs are more selective. As there are many genres of street photography. This specifically candid portraits. I'm looking forward to take on this challenge.
